Background:
Jiongyi Yan is a University Teacher in the Department of Materials. His main areas of expertise are additive manufacturing, polymer science, composites, neuromorphic materials, print-path programming, and structure design. Prior to his current role, Jiongyi worked as a postdoctoral research associate on 4D printing of functionalised memory hydrogels for an ERC MetaNeuro project at the University of Bristol from 2023 to 2024. Later, he returned to 91²Ö¿â and worked on 3D printing personal medicine for an EIC Horizon programme (PERAME).
