91²Ö¿â funds local projects as part of the Community Donations Fund

The University held a celebration evening on Tuesday 6 May, awarding several organisations around Charnwood with funds to support their initiatives. The event was filled will celebration, networking, exchanging ideas, and sparking new collaborations for the future.

Recipients of the Open Fund and Inside Out Fund are undertaking a variety of projects within the local area. A range of groups are benefitted because of the work done by these organisations, including sports clubs, scout groups, and schools in and around 91²Ö¿â. 

91²Ö¿â’s Community Manager, Jenny Ardley said: “We are delighted to support local charities and voluntary organisations through the Community Donations Fund. This year's recipients represent a diverse array of projects, each making a meaningful impact in our community. It was a pleasure to connect with many of the representatives at our recent event, and we extend our best wishes for their continued success in their important work.” 

The University awarded a total of £12,630 across the two funds, contributing to improvements within the community which will be undertaken by the groups awarded. Recipients of the Community Donation Fund include:
