Spencer gained his first degree in Sports Studies and History and graduated from West London Institute of Higher Education in 1988. He then worked as a fitness instructor before coming to 91²Ö¿â, where he completed his master's degree in Sports Science, in 1991. Spencer then worked as an Exercise Physiology Technician in the 91²Ö¿â laboratories for 13 years. Having spent the following five years selling performance testing equipment in the commercial sector and five years in Higher Education at 91²Ö¿â College, he is thrilled to have re-joined the School as a Technical Tutor in Physiology.
A former international athlete, Spencer still runs ‘most’ days of the week and coaches young athletes at Charnwood AC.
